Scheduled Water Main Repair: On Catalpa Dr between Mortenson Blvd & Henley Ave 

UPDATE: The main break has been repaired and service is back to normal.

We have been informed by our Public Works (DPW) that there will be a scheduled water main repair on Catalpa Drive between Mortenson Blvd & Henley Ave.

In order to maintain/upgrade our water system, we are repairing water mains in this area. During this repair, DPW anticipates residents on Catalpa from Mortenson Blvd to Henley Ave may have temporary water shut off/service disruptions on their street. DPW will attempt to limit service disruptions to Thursday, August 25th from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM. There is no boil advisory.

Please note that once service has been restored residents will experience discolored water. Once your water is turned back on, let the cold water run in the lowest area of your home until it clears. If you happen to use any of the brown water for washing light and/or white clothing you may need to rewash your laundry with a product specifically made to remove iron which is available at most stores (bleach will not remove iron spots). 

Residents in the surrounding area may experience discolored water during and for several hours after the repair has been completed as well.
