Water Main Break Alert: Near the Intersection of 11 Mile & Ellwood
Public Works (DPW) staff is currently repairing a water main break near the intersection of Eleven Mile and Ellwood (see map below).
Earlier this morning, a Water Main Break occurred near the intersection of Eleven Mile and Ellwood. The break is located adjacent to a DTE Substation which required Public Works (DPW) to contact the energy company to assist with utility line locating. The line has been located and DPW is now currently repairing the water main break.
DPW expects water service to be disrupted for residents in and around the surrounding areas on Ellwood from 11 Mile to Oxford. Disruptions service should be restored to all residents within 4-6 hours. There is no boil advisory.
