STORM WARNING PSA: Flood Watch for Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning

The National Weather Service has released an alert that our region is now under a Flood Watch until Thursday morning and total rainfall amounts have increased to 2-4 inches, with the potential for rainfall to exceed 1 inch per hour in certain areas.

The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) has also released a statement sharing that the regional system "is working as designed and is in dry weather conditions, and currently has the capacity to handle the predicted rainfall." In addition, GLWA is staffing accordingly in anticipation of the severe weather.

The City will continue to monitor the forecast and our combined sewer system in anticipation of the storm as well. We also ask residents to be "weather alert" over the next couple of days.
