Berkley, MI – August 4, 2021 – The City of Berkley is excited to announce that they will be hosting their 25th Anniversary of the Berkley CruiseFest on Friday, August 20, 2021.

The event will feature the traditional classic car parade along 12 Mile Rd followed by a musical performance by Darron Moore & the 14th Floor for the city-wide block party.

“This event is one of many summer highlights in Berkley and we look forward to safely gathering for the 25th Anniversary, listen to classic Motown, watch classic cars drive down 12 Mile and so much more,” said Theresa McArleton, Parks & Recreation Director. “We are also grateful for the Cruisefest Committee's efforts including the long-time Chairman, Mark Coon, for all their work to keep this great tradition alive in Berkley.”

The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM and will travel west down 12 Mile Rd starting at Woodward and ending at Greenfield. The concert and party will commence after the parade concludes on Robina Ave.

New to this year’s festivities, Berkley Parks and Recreation is excited to host an outdoor movie in front of the Neighbor’s Shoppe (2833 Twelve Mile Rd). GREASE is the word and it will begin following the parade as well.

The event will be abiding by CDC and State COVID-19 public health guidelines for outdoor gatherings. Residents and community members are invited and encouraged to attend the festivities.
