RCOC SPRING ADOPT-A-ROAD CLEAN-UP CANCELED DUE TO  CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19)

Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has canceled the spring Adopt-a-Road clean up that had been scheduled for April 18 - 26 due to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

The Adopt-a-Road clean-up is expected to resume during the summer clean-up scheduled for July 18-26.

In conjunction with the State of Michigan and Oakland County, RCOC is taking precautionary steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, as most volunteer groups and organizations have multiple participants in each clean-up.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has also canceled its spring clean-up plans along roadsides. For more information, visit: https://www.michigan.gov/mdot/0,4616,7-151-9621_11041_14408---,00.html

In the meantime, citizens can continue to do their part by not littering.
