Employee Assistance Program
Another benefit offered by the City of Berkley is the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provider is HelpNet and services are available for eligible full-time employees and their dependents.
An EAP is a work-based intervention program designed to identify and assist employees in resolving personal matters (e.g., marital, financial, emotional; family issues; substance/alcohol abuse) that may adversely affect employee’performance. Services are provided by a master's level, fully credentialed therapist with multiple years of experience. The therapist's role is to:
