Finance

The primary responsibility of the Finance Department is to provide the City Manager and City Council with timely, accurate, and useful financial information and to maintain the City's financial records in accordance with the City Charter, State law and generally accepted accounting principles.

A copy of the budget is available for review at the Library and City Hall.

David Sabuda

Finance Director

David L. Sabuda holds a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Detroit and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Michigan.

Mr. Sabuda has over twenty-two years of governmental accounting and auditing experience on the state, county and local government levels. This work experience includes being a Finance Director/Treasurer for over sixteen years with three local units of government.

David is a current member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a on-ice youth hockey official.
