Help Available - Income Tax Preparation

Berkley-AARP trained volunteers will assist senior residents with tax returns.  The volunteers will be able to assist approximately 20 people per day on a first come, first served basis.

• Thursdays
• February 4 to April 8
• Between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
• Berkley Community Center

Key Points

• Assistance limited to 20 people per day
• First-come, first served
• Residents must be 55-years of age or older
• Returns will be filed electronically to insure accuracy and quick refunds
• Be sure to bring a copy of last year's tax return
• If you file jointly with your spouse, both parties must attend the session
• TaxAide assistance is limited by the training provided to the AARP tax counselors
• If your return is complex, you will be asked to go to a professional tax counselor
