• The City repairs and changes fire hydrants as needed.
• You may experience brown water when a hydrant is repaired or changed. This is caused by the pressure change releasing iron sediment in the line. If it gets into laundry, a product called Iron Out can be purchased.
• It is not always possible to inform residents when work is being done.
