Arena
The Berkley Ice Arena opened in 1974 and is the home of:
- The Berkley Bears High School Hockey Team
- Dragons Youth Hockey Association
- PK Warriors
The Arena offers fun activities ranging from skating classes, hockey leagues, special events and a season’s end recital. The Ice Arena is located two blocks west of Coolidge. 1/2 block south of Catalpa, behind the Community Center. (Map)

Ice Rental
Whether you are looking for practice time for your team, an exciting event with your co-workers, family parties or just want to get out and skate the Berkley Ice Arena has what you seek! Available Times:
- Saturdays, 9am - 12noon, $220/hour
- Mondays (select dates), 8:30-10pm, $220/hour
- Fridays (select dates), 8:30-10pm, $220/hour
Open Hockey
- Must be 18 or older to participate
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00 am – 11:20 am
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1:30 pm – 2:50 pm
Admission: $8 per player, Goalies are FREE.
Skating
- Session I: September 16 – November 5, 2011
- Session II: November 12, 2011 – January 14, 2012
- Registration: November 12th @ 3:00pm or online at dragonshockey.com
- Session II: January 21 – March 10, 2012
- Registration: January 21st @ 3:00pm or online at dragonshockey.com

*Course fee is $100/session with a $12 annual fee; Prorated fees are available

Refund Policy
Refunds will not be given after the second meeting of class. Receipts are required for all refunds. A $10 service fee PLUS a pro-rated class fee will be applied to patron-requested refunds. A full refund will be given if the City of Berkley Ice Arena cancels a class or program. Refunds are issued in check form; please allow 2 to 4 weeks to process.
Open Skating
Interested in a fun time with friends or family? Come to the Berkley Ice Arena for some Open Skating. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 248.658.3460.
- Monday-Friday: 11:30 am – 1:20 pm
- Saturday: 7:00 pm – 8:50 pm
- Sunday: 5:30 pm – 6:50 pm (5-6:50pm; starting November 6th)

$5 – Adults
$4 – Children (12 & under)
Rental Skates
It is recommended that you bring your own skates to class. Reservations required to rent skates - $3 per pair. Rental skates must be paid for at the time of registration.
