La Salette's St. Vincent de Paul Conference Has Opened a Free Food Pantry for People in Need
The pantry is located just inside the glass door to the parish office building (2600 Harvard Road, Berkley). Families and individuals are welcome to obtain food items in order to help cut their grocery bills.
Visitors need to ring the bell to be buzzed into the vestibule. No personal information is required. We just ask that individuals take what is needed to help get through the next day or two. This way, others will be able to benefit from the pantry. People can come as often as necessary.

In addition to the food pantry in Berkley, St. Vincent de Paul South Oakland has a food depot located at 28720 N Stephenson Hwy Madison Heights, MI 48071.

Located in the back of the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, the Food Depot serves low-income individuals and families in need in Oakland County. Clients may receive food once every four weeks. New clients must bring proof of income and an ID with proof of address for all household members receiving aid. For more information, please call.
About St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP):
Our La Salette SVdP Conference is made up of individual members, called Vincentians, who volunteer to minister to our neighbors in need by making in-home visits. With compassion, empathy, respect, and gratitude, we nurture a one-on-one relationship to better understand and satisfy the material and spiritual needs of the people we serve. Through our outreach programs, we are able to assist individuals and families with food, clothing, furniture, energy assistance, and other urgent needs.
