The primary responsibility of the Finance Department is to provide the City Manager and City Council with timely, accurate, and useful financial information and to maintain the City's financial records in accordance with the City Charter, State law and generally accepted accounting principles. A copy of the budget is available for review at the Library and City Hall and can also be viewed on line from the link to the right. Finance/Treasury is responsible for the following:

Meet Your Finance Director/Treasurer
Ms. Lilla, a certified public accountant, has more than 12 years of experience in municipal finance.
Previously, she served as the Financial Analyst (deputy finance director) for the City of Novi. She was also a member of the Plante & Moran Government Accounting Professionals (PMGAP), responsible for year-end audit preparations, forecasting, budgeting and a number of critical financial management tasks.
